PPE & General Safety
1.Use & Importance of PPE
- Helmet chin strap must always be locked.
- All PPEs to be used properly at all times.
2.Do's & Don'ts During Erection
- Follow the prescribed do's and don'ts for every tower erection activity.
- Non-compliance is a direct safety risk.
4.Good Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, organised work area.
- Reduces trip hazards and material mishandling.
Working at Height
3.100% Hooking
- 100% hooking mandatory while ascending, descending and working at height.
- No exceptions — always stay hooked.
Derrick Pole & Guy Rope Safety
5.Three Guy Ropes per Derrick Pole
- Use three guy ropes on each Derrick pole.
- All ropes must be properly tightened.
6.Three-Point Support
- Derrick pole must have three-point support.
- Minimum 4-metre overlap with the tower leg.
7.Retractable Block for Lifting
- Always use a retractable block while lifting the Derrick pole.
8.HT Nut Bolts Only
- Always use HT (High Tensile) nut bolts in Derrick pole connections.
9.Inspect Tie-Ropes Regularly
- Check Derrick pole tie-ropes regularly.
- Ensure they are not cut or damaged.
10.Guy Rope Angle
- Maintain guy rope angle between 30° and 45°.
- No joints allowed in guy ropes.
Lifting Operations
11.Cross Arm Lifting
- Complete all punching and tightening before lifting cross arms.
12.No Standing Under Suspended Load
- No one should stand under a suspended load at any time.
Strictly Prohibited
13.Never Join All Four Derrick Poles
- Joining all four Derrick Poles together is strictly prohibited.
- Climbing on the Derrick Pole is strictly prohibited.
RememberA tower is only as safe as its weakest guy rope, its loosest bolt, or its unhooked worker. Check everything, every time.

1.पीपीई का उपयोग और महत्व
- हेलमेट की चिन स्ट्रैप हमेशा लॉक होनी चाहिए।

2.इरेक्शन के दौरान करें/न करें
- हर टावर इरेक्शन गतिविधि के लिए निर्धारित करें/न करें (Do's & Don'ts) का पालन करें।

4.अच्छी हाउसकीपिंग
- कार्य क्षेत्र को साफ और व्यवस्थित रखें।
- ट्रिप हैज़ार्ड और सामग्री की गलत हैंडलिंग कम करता है।
ऊँचाई पर कार्य
3.100% हुकिंग
- चढ़ते, उतरते और ऊँचाई पर कार्य करते समय 100% हुकिंग अनिवार्य है।
- कोई अपवाद नहीं — हमेशा हुक्ड रहें।
डेरिक पोल और गाइ रोप सुरक्षा
5.प्रति डेरिक पोल तीन गाइ रोप
- हर डेरिक पोल पर तीन गाइ रोप का उपयोग करें।
- सभी रस्सियाँ सही ढंग से कसी होनी चाहिए।
6.थ्री-पॉइंट सपोर्ट
- डेरिक पोल में थ्री-पॉइंट सपोर्ट होना चाहिए।
- टावर लेग के साथ न्यूनतम 4 मीटर ओवरलैप।
7.लिफ्टिंग के लिए रिट्रैक्टेबल ब्लॉक
- डेरिक पोल उठाते समय हमेशा रिट्रैक्टेबल ब्लॉक का उपयोग करें।
8.केवल HT नट बोल्ट
- डेरिक पोल कनेक्शन में हमेशा HT (हाई टेंसाइल) नट बोल्ट का उपयोग करें।
9.टाई-रोप की नियमित जाँच करें
- डेरिक पोल की टाई-रोप की नियमित जाँच करें।
- सुनिश्चित करें कि वे कटी या क्षतिग्रस्त न हों।
10.गाइ रोप का कोण
- गाइ रोप का कोण 30° और 45° के बीच बनाए रखें।
- गाइ रोप में कोई जॉइंट अनुमति नहीं है।
लिफ्टिंग ऑपरेशन
11.क्रॉस आर्म लिफ्टिंग
- क्रॉस आर्म उठाने से पहले सभी पंचिंग और टाइटनिंग पूरी करें।
12.लटके हुए लोड के नीचे खड़े न हों
- किसी भी समय लटके हुए लोड के नीचे कोई खड़ा न हो।
पूर्णतः निषेध
13.चारों डेरिक पोल कभी न जोड़ें
- चारों डेरिक पोल को एक साथ जोड़ना पूर्णतः निषिद्ध है।
- डेरिक पोल पर चढ़ना पूर्णतः निषिद्ध है।
याद रखेंटावर उतना ही सुरक्षित है जितनी उसकी सबसे कमज़ोर गाइ रोप, सबसे ढीला बोल्ट, या उसका बिना हुक्ड कर्मचारी। हर बार, हर चीज़ की जाँच करें।
